SCHLEBACH warranty certificate for 12 months

1. We guarantee our products for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Work under warranty at home and abroad will be performed by the manufacturing company or its authorised service workshops. If the machine is made available on trial, the warranty shall apply from the date when it is made available.

2. Should you want to make a claim under warranty, send back the machine along with all its accessories in the packaging and storage crate. Please also enclose a report detailing the nature of your complaint.

3. There shall be no entitlement to claim under warranty except in the case of faults that can be shown to be based on manufacturing or material faults. During the warranty period the relevant parts shall be replaced or repaired free of charge, at our discretion. All further claims shall be excluded. Any parts replaced shall become our property.

4. Transport and packaging cost that are incurred for delivery and return of the machine in cases of damage, as well the costs of calling out a technician, shall be borne by the purchaser. We cannot accept the risk in transit.

5. The repair or replacement of individual parts shall not extend the originally specified warranty period for the machine. In the case of third-party products, our liability shall be restricted to the assignment of liability claims to which we are entitled against the supplier of the third-party products.

6. If repairs or interventions are undertaken by persons without written authorisation to do so, the claim under warranty shall lapse. It shall be for the purchaser to prove the contrary.

7. Any damage resulting from connection or use of the machine other than as specified in our operating and maintenance instructions shall not be subject to warranty.

8. The warranty shall in particular not cover the following cases:
a) Damage or faults resulting from force majeure (lightning strike, storm, water) or other external influences.
b) Damage resulting from improper treatment or other faults that cannot be attributed to manufacturing or material faults.
c) Express wear damage resulting from above-average loading, natural wear and tear and premature consumption of valves, seals, hoses, filters and other parts that are affected by this fact as a result of their composition and the way they are used.
d) Damage to leads and plugs.

9. The warranty for export goods shall only apply if they are supplied by an authorised Schlebach dealer.
Warranty claims shall only be acknowledged if the goods have been delivered by a direct route to the country of use.

10. In all other respects our terms of delivery shall apply.

11. When a claim is made under warranty, the date of purchase is to be confirmed by means of a copy of the invoice, showing the machine model and number and the date of purchase.
